Released in 1995, Massive Killing Capacity is the third studio album by Swedish death metal band Dismember, often regarded as their most melodic, groovy, and accessible, yet still incredibly brutal, release. It features polished production, heavy HM-2 pedal riffs, and a focus on catchy songwriting, incorporating elements of death ‘n’ roll.

Deathwestern is the 2022 album by Las Vegas “death-western” band SpiritWorld, blending old-school thrash, death metal, and hardcore with a gritty, apocalyptic cowboy aesthetic. Produced by Sam Pura, it features high-energy, riff-driven songs and themes of, horror, and violence. “Ulcer” is a notable track from the album. Heavily themed around horror, Western lore, and religious, or anti-religious, sentiment.

Cancer is a pioneering British death/thrash metal band formed in 1987 in Telford, England. Known for brutal, old-school death metal with thrash influences, the band achieved prominence in the early 1990s with classic albums To the Gory End (1990) and Death Shall Rise (1991). Following multiple hiatuses, they reformed in 2013 and continue to release new, intense material. 

 Necrot is a prominent American death metal trio formed in 2011, renowned for delivering raw, relentless old-school death metal with strong d-beat influences. Featuring members of Vastum and Acephalix

Krisiun is a renowned Brazilian death metal trio formed in 1990 by brothers Alex Camargo (vocals/bass), Moyses Kolesne (guitar), and Max Kolesne (drums). Known for their high-speed, brutal, and unrelenting style, they are considered pioneers of the “Brazilian brutal death metal” sound.
